Designed for spine surgeons with little or no experience with MIS surgery in the lumbar spine who have an interest in adding MIS techniques to their armamentarium. The agenda includes a full day of hands-on training supplemented by lectures from an experienced surgeon faculty.

TUTORIAL
The Advanced MIS Tutorial program offers surgeons a unique opportunity to visit thought leaders in minimally invasive spine surgery. A one-and-a-half day visitation included a group dinner with the host surgeon(s), live surgery observation, and a hands-on cadaveric bioskills lab.
The tutorial program is designed for the experienced spine surgeon who has met some or all of the following criteria:
- Attended an Introduction to MIS program
- 1+ years experience or 25+ cases/year using percutaneous screw placement
- 1+ years experience or 50+ cases/year on MIS microdiscs or fusions
- Practice is in part dedicated to treating complex spine
- Stated interest in treating complex spine through MIS approach
- Interested in the expanding indications of MIS within their practice
