DePuy Spine’s Cervical Spine Education Program is focused on complex pathologies and surgical techniques. Participating surgeons experience a case review dinner with a key thought leader, a one-on-one operating room visitation, and the opportunity to train in a laboratory using cadaveric specimen. This unique program, offering one-on-one and small group sessions is tailored to surgeons who are looking to gain further knowledge and skill in surgical techniques for the cervical spine.

The Cervical Spine Education Program progresses as follows:

Phase I

The Complex Cervical Spine Dinner allows surgeons to engage in lively discussion and debate of complex cervical spine treatment options with a surgeon expert through an informal setting. The surgeon instructor provides lecture and/ or case review on current clinical issues relating to safe and effective use of cervical products with ample time for a question and answer session. Participants are encouraged to bring their own cases.

Phase II

Surgeon to Surgeon Visitation is designed to provide you the opportunity to meet an experienced surgeon in either a one-on-one setting or in a small group setting. Participants observe live surgery and discuss surgical technique, indications and clinical results. Program agendas are customized to suit the participant’s surgical area of interest.

Phase III

Join us at our Raynham, Massachusetts headquarters for a Hands-On Training opportunity supplemented by presentations from an experienced spine surgeon. This course is designed for spine surgeons with moderate surgical experience in complex cervical spine who have an interest in improving their skills in an anatomical lab setting.
