4th Annual DePuy Spine Advanced Concepts in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Lumbar Arthroplasty Bioskills Workshop
The fourth annual DePuy Spine Advanced Concepts in Spine Surgery Bioskills Workshop was held August 29-30, 2009 in Chicago, Ilinois. A total of 45 orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery fellows attended the program. The worshop was taught by 18 faculty from around the country, including the three Co-Chairmen, Richard Guyer, MD, Nathan Lebwohl, MD, and Michael Wang, MD.

6th Annual DePuy Spine Pre-fellowship Bioskills Workshop
The sixth annual DePuy Spine Pre-fellowship Bioskills Workshop was held May 15-18, 2009 in Denver, Colorado. A total of 40 orthopaedic and neurosurgical residents heading into their fellowship year on July 1st, attended the program. The worshop was taught by 25 fellowship directors from around the country who served as faculty, including the two Co-Chairmen, Carl Lauryssen, MD & Nathan Lebwohl, MD.

5th Annual Neurosurgery Residents Education Summit
The fifth annual Neurosurgery Residents Education Summit was held March 5-7, 2009 in Miami, Florida. This year, 72 chief or senior neurosurgery residents attended the two day Summit, taught by 36 faculty, including five Co-Chairmen: Prof. Alan Crockard, Robert Heary, MD, Brian Hoh, MD, Stephen Lewis, MD, and Michael Wang, MD. In prior years, the Summit was limited solely to spinal surgery education.
